So today has been a day of much wildlife for me! It started with this little fella, a blind Garter Snake, a definite first for me! He was in our garbage box and I found it weird that he didn’t even flinch when I opened the top, and didn’t move when I went to pic him up either, then I noticed his eyes. It didn’t take long for him to pee on me once I picked him up, really stinky, but his only defence mechanism I s’pose!

Then there was the freshly hit Deer which I would have taken for the skull. But alas, I only drive a Carolla so that was out! After that I found a mortally wounded Crow (broken neck) which I did take home and is now buried in the woods behind my house. And to top it all off, I have my racoon skull out of the woods now and it’s soaking to remove any grime, dirt and any remaining small fleshy bits.

All in all a perfectly normal day! LOL
